Tim Ogilvie founded AdBuyer.com to provide tools and analytics that will allow smaller marketers to advertise on an even footing with the giants of online marketing across both search and display.
Prior to founding AdBuyer.com, Tim served as the Vice President of Business Development for Pronto, IAC/InterActiveCorp's comparison shopping engine. Tim was responsible for all traffic generation efforts, including strategic partnerships, SEM and SEO, catapulting Pronto to one the fastest growing websites of 2007.
Prior to Pronto, Tim served as Vice President of Business Development for Ask.com. He joined Ask via the 2004 acquisition of Interactive Search Holdings (originally iWon.com) where he served as General Manager of their Search and Syndication businesses. Tim joined iWon in 1999 as an early employee and served in a variety of business development and marketing roles.
Tim has a B.S. in Computer Science from Yale University.
Jessica previously designed and launched a number of technology solutions to help Morgan Stanley’s 10,000 financial advisors better manage and optimize their asset allocation and investment performance. Jessica is now applying her ability to design easy-to-use tools solving complex business problems to online advertising.
Prior to AdBuyer.com, Jessica was a consultant in the New York office of McKinsey & Company advising media and financial services clients on a range of strategic and sales and marketing issues. Prior to McKinsey, Jessica spent five years at Morgan Stanley.
Jessica has a M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.A. from Yale University.
Murray has spent his career focused on delivering excellent user experiences. He brings 15 years of technology product development expertise, designing for the Mainframe, DOS, Windows, Mobile, Web 1.0 and Web 2.0 worlds.
Prior to AdBuyer.com, Murray worked in the IT Strategies group at the N.S.W. State Department of Health - an organization with a budget of A$12.5 billion and more than 100,000 employees.
Previously, he was 2IC to the CTO at Cyberlynx, an Australian B2B marketplace, responsible for constructing technology services and developing strategic partnerships and joint ventures.
As a consultant, his clients have included Microsoft, American Express, Toyota and Citibank and key successes include architecting the Australian Taxation Office's first Public Key Infrastructure and public tax lodgement solution.
Murray spends his free time with a camera as a photojournalist, working on projects about Food and Democracy (not necessarily at the same time) in New York City and around the world.
Murray has a B.Sc. in Computer Science and Pure Mathematics from the University of Sydney, Australia.
Qingping leads the development and implementation of AdBuyer's optimization algorithms.
Most recently, Qingping was responsible for developing and maintaining quantitative optimization strategies for ContextWeb. This included development of their cross-network optimization algorithms and a variety of quantitative tools for analyzing and improving performance for both advertisers and publishers.
Prior to ContextWeb, Qingping was a Quantitative Developer for Informa Investment Solutions. At Informa, he was responsible for creating, evaluating and maintaining quantitative solutions for financial planning, financial projection analysis and numerical computations. Qingping has also worked for Query+.
Qingping has a Ph.D & MS in Mathematics & Computer Science from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, and a MS & BS in Applied Mathematics from Soochow University in Suzhou, China.
John is responsible for leading the development of new features and maintenance of the AdBuyer platform. This includes directing all phases of iterative and test-driven development including architecture, functional and technical design as well as implementation.
Prior to AdBuyer, John has 12 years of experience with structured software development. Most recently, he was a lead software engineer with iCrossing where he guided several large public facing redesigns including Hyundai USA, Dolby and Saint Gobain.
Prior to iCrossing, John spent 9 years working at Goldman Sachs as a consultant with Keane, Inc. During this time, John led offshore teams on several technical endeavors for a global accounting system. John has a BS in Systems Analysis and a BA in Psychology from Miami University.
John Morris is a designer with 12 years of experience in digital and print media. A roundabout route to design -- entered after earning an M.B.A. in marketing -- has helped him develop creative and effective solutions to a wide range of design challenges for a variety of companies and organizations. His formal training, professional background, and breadth of scholarship offer a combination of skills and experience unusual in the design field.
John holds a degree in graphic design from Parsons School of Design, an M.B.A. from the George Washington University, and a B.S. in finance from Villanova University.
Eugene is a seasoned technologist with over 15 years of experience, spanning an array of industries and technologies. He is responsible for AdBuyer.com’s system architecture, integration, and infrastructure.
Prior to AdBuyer.com, Eugene worked at Thomson Financial where he provided technical leadership for several key products -- most notably Thomson ONE web framework -- and managed a large team of developers across the globe.
During Eugene’s tenure at the B2B exchange Metiom, he was responsible for the development of the integration framework and search components.
In the 1990s, while at Brightwater Software, Eugene developed ActiveHost COM toolkit, which was sold to Stingray Software (now part of Rogue Wave).
Eugene has also worked as a technology consultant to a number of major corporations, including News Corporation and Morgan Stanley.
Eugene holds M.S. in Computer Science from Brooklyn College, graduating with a 4.0 GPA.
Jonah is a co-founder of WGI Group, Point Ventures Group, Smarter Ad Group, and Colonize.com. Jonah was one of the founding investors and Board members of Right Media, the leading online advertising exchange which was acquired by Yahoo! in 2007. Most recently, Jonah co-founded WGI Group, a seed stage fund which has invested in over ten early stage technology companies.
